Will they ever come out of Beta? What is the hold-up?
Why Is Gmail Still In Beta?
They're still working out the quirks.
For example, sometimes while I'm beginning to type an e-mail, after a few words, it will automatically save my draft. For some reason, the cursor is no longer in the text box! I have to click inside the box again and retype a word or two.

Reply:I've been using gmail for years since you had to apply to get an account. I've never had any problems with it. So, if it's still in beta, it doesn't matter anyway.
